GI Hospitalists Needed in South Central Georgia

We are looking to start a new GI Hospital Medicine service line to support employed and community physicians, as well as referring physicians from here and surrounding service area.

Schedule

• 7 on/ 7 off

Responsibilities

• Responsible for IP consults and IP procedures
• Dedicated NP for GI HM Service

Current Endoscopy Services Provide, but not limited to:

• Colonoscopy
• Small Bowl Enteroscopy
• ERCP
• Flexible Fiberoptic Sigmoidoscopy
• High Resolution Manometry
• 48-Hour Bravo pH Monitoring
• EGD
• Pill Cam SB
• EndoFlip
• Barrett's Esophagus: WATS available and use TissueCypher, plus RFA Ablation System
• Anesthesia, propofol available for all cases
• EMR: Cerner/Provatio

Location

Located in south central Georgia, only one hour from Florida, 2.5 - 3.0 hours from Atlantic or Gulf coast. Low cost of living. Close proximity to major airports. Atlanta, GA and Jacksonville, FL airports are only 2.5 - 3.0 hours and Tallahassee is under two hours.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should be US residency and fellowship trained. Candidates must be board-certified prior to sixth year post residency/fellowship. Must be ABMS or AOA Board Certification.
