Position Title: Industrial SewerWage: $16/hourShift: 1stHours: 5am-1:30pm Monday-FridayQPS Employment Group is hiring an Industrial Sewer for a company in Waterloo, IA. This is a contract to hire role.Industrial Sewer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch, assemble, and finish various fabric products according to specifications- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and specifications; make adjustments as necessary- Prepare and handle fabrics, ensuring proper cutting, measuring, and alignment before sewing- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtimeIndustrial Sewer Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of experience with sewing in an industrial setting- Multitasking and being able to get things done in a timely manner- Attention to detailQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
