Job Summary:Responsible for operating equipment, ensuring the safety and efficiency of mill operations.
Essential Functions:
- Utilize precision tools and equipment to inspect and process steel products.
- Interpret specifications and customer requirements accurately.
- Perform setup, maintenance, and operation of mill equipment.
- Monitor and adjust mill controls to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely production.
- Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and housekeeping practices.
- Communicate effectively with management and peers.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to meet safety and quality standards.
- Basic computer skills.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
