- Has commercial kitchen baking experience
- Has a great work ethic and is very productive
- Has a current Oregon food handler card
- Is a team player and willing to learn
- A self starter and self manager, always looking for where they can help
- Can stand for long periods of time
- Can lift and carry items up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
Duties
- Follow the production schedule set by the kitchen supervisor
- Work closely with the other bakers to produce great products and keep shelves full.
- Follow the company's food standards
- Use appropriate baking techniques to achieve high quality products
- Use accurate kitchen math and measurements to adjust quantities of recipes
- Plan your day so needed items and tasks are completed efficiently, while still being flexible to change if needed
- Know and follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Safe knife handling skills
