Would you like to make a difference every day in someone's life? Our growing agency is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide to work with a pediatric client in the Valrico, FL area. Work closely with our clinical staff to support therapeutic, medical and behavioral plans, provide assistance and strategies to the individuals we serve to live as independently as possible.

The Home Health Aide must be patient, experienced, kind, and have a caring heart for our clients. Professionalism and empathy are a must when working in home health. The Home Health Aide should be comfortable with working independently and consulting with the clinical management team to ensure proper care and safety for our clients.

We are seeking a caregiver for an immediate need for a new client who requires hands-on care. The hours requested by the client's family are Saturday & Sunday from 8am-4pm. You must have experience with pediatrics and more importantly with clients with special needs. THIS IS A 1099 REFERRAL. You MUST have experience working as an independent contractor to receive this referral.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living skills including meal preparation and assist with medication reminders
  • Personal care assistance for hygiene, including bathing and grooming
  • Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from prescribed exercise, nutrition, and supporting care

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with developmentally disabled pediatrics
  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in English (bilingual a plus)
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current First Aid training
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school education or higher (diploma/GED/transcript or equivalent required)
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do
  • A heart for serving those in need of care

We are only accepting professionals for this role. The HHaide must be dependeable and reliable. Cancellations of services or contract must be communicated with the client and family, as well as the referring office. We work with clients who depend on our care to remain safe in their homes.
