Cutting Table Operator 2nd Shift

• Total compensation pay range $18-$22/hr, depending on experience
• Quarterly safety bonus opportunities
• $1 Shift Differential for working 2nd Shift
• Shift Days and Hours: Monday-Friday 5 pm-1:30 am or longer. Schedule subject to change (depending on shipping schedule)

Who You Are:

An ideal candidate would be someone that is reliable, self-motivated, team player, hardworking individual that is looking to start or further their career in the glass industry.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operate a CNC controlled cutting table and loading crane
• Break apart pre-cut large sheets of glass into smaller specified sizes
• Inspect, approve, or reject product before sent to next department
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Perform and document required QC procedures
• Report inventory to production control
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis

Skills You Bring:

• Three years of previous work experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Glass industry experience is a plus!
• One year of previous experience operating production machines
• Experience using overhead cranes to move heavy loads is a plus.
• Hight School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements
• Ability to use a tape measure and calipers to perform basic dimensional inspections
