AvalonBay Communities is searching for a Front Desk Supervisor, a true leader in Customer Service who will spearhead our concierge desk operations, set new standards for quality, and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. The Front Desk Supervisor will follow a Monday - Friday schedule - 7am - 3pm. Join us in redefining what it means to live in style and comfort - the future of apartment management starts here! The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the concierge desk at one of our top-of-the-line apartment communities. You will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of the front desk, from resident relations to partnering with our maintenance teams and leasing teams, as well as ensuring smooth flow of traffic through the lobby. The Front Desk Supervisor will also handle escalated resident issues and work with the Community Manager and Maintenance Manager as a liaison to provide resolutions. Your leadership skills will be utilized to create a better place to live and a top place to work. •Foster positive relationships with residents, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly. •Enforce community policies consistently and fairly. •Organize and manage resident events and initiatives to promote a sense of community. •Manage a team of concierge to ensure residents and prospects have an exceptional experience at all hours •Oversee temporary help and vendor relations •Provide coaching and counseling for team and individual development •Handle escalated resident issues and work with the Community Manager and Maintenance Manager as a liaison to provide resolutions. •Training new and existing concierge This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work with and train staff during weekday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts. You have.... •Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years of multifamily experience or related experience/education in a hotel, retail or restaurant environment. •1 or more years of supervisory or training experience required •High school diploma or equivalency (GED) is required.
