Grundens is seeking a dynamic Global Sales and Demand Plannerto join our global sales team. This is a pivotal role that drives efficient inventory management processes and supports strategic decision-making to meet customer demand and maximize profitability. The Global Sales and Demand Planner contributes to optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently meeting demand with accurate product information.The Global Sales and Demand Planner reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and works closely with Sales, Supply/Operations, Product Management, and Ecommerce teams. Top candidates should have a strong understanding of sales, go to market process, and account management.ResponsibilitiesUtilize historical data, market trends, and statistical models to accurately forecast product demandDevelop global demand plans that represent all channels of business (D2C, N.A. Wholesale, Amazon, EMEA, LATAM) for short-term and long-term horizons to support sales and production objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and incorporate business intelligence into demand forecastsTrack and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand forecasting accuracyGenerate regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations for actionProactively identify process improvements and optimization opportunities within demand planningImplement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance forecasting accuracyDrive cross-functional initiatives to streamline processes and improve overall business performanceProvide weekly, monthly, and seasonal sell through analysis by top 20 accounts and sales analytics platformsCollaborate with product management teams to validate product data, ensuring it meets quality standards and enhances the customer experienceResponsible for achieving on-hand inventory goals aligned with company directive for fulfillment of prebooked and asap replenishment ordersPlan exit strategies and transition plans for excess and end of life inventoryIdentify key opportunities and obstacles inherent to the forecasting process. Assist management in continuous improvement of the processKeys to SuccessStrong analytical skills in interpreting data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions regarding demand forecastingUnderstanding of apparel and apparel industryFull end to end understanding and knowledge on how to influence sales and the go to market processCustomer-centric approach to understanding top customer needs and preferencesExpert understanding of the fishing industry and seasonal nature of the categoryExcellent cross-functional communication skills (verbal, written, in-person, & virtual)Elite process implementationProven problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skillsAcute attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneouslyInnate ability to drive cross functional accountability through data and relationshipsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar fieldAt least 5 years of apparel experienceProven experience in demand planning, data management, or related rolesRetail experience is valuedStrong analytical and quantitative skills, proficient in statistical analysis and forecasting techniquesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence decision-making processesStrong process implementation skillset Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with planning tools/systems. Experience with demand planning software is greatly preferred but not requiredLocation & BenefitsWork location: Must be located near the Poulsbo Headquarters with the ability to work remotely for 2 days. Relocation assistance available. Compensation: This role can expect to earn $100,000- $120,000. Benefits: Grundens offers a generous benefits package that includes the following: Insurance: All employees have the ability to enroll in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, and Life Flight coverage. Benefits begin the first day of the month following your hire date.Retirement: Grundens offers a 401(k)-retirement plan with a 5% match at 6% contribution. Bonus Program: Grundens offers a profit-based bonus program when revenue and personal targets are met and/or exceeded.Paid Time Off (PTO) - All Grundens employees earn PTO every pay period, starting at 80 hours per year depending on experience level.Paid Holidays - Grundens provides 9 set paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday for a total of 10 paid holidays.Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
