Job Summary:The Mail Clerk is responsible for opening mail, digitizing documents, and uploading them to files. The position requires managing incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing support to maintain a smooth flow of operations. This role also includes troubleshooting equipment and assisting in shipping and receiving tasks.Key Responsibilities:
  • Open and digitize incoming mail.
  • Upload digitized documents to the appropriate files.
  • Maintain and operate copier and other related equipment.
  • Follow shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring accuracy of incoming materials by checking packing slips.
  • Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
  • Ensure mail is delivered accurately and timely according to instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all interactions.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly on assigned tasks.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with mail handling or copy-related tasks.
  • Knowledge of copier equipment and basic electronics.
  • Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures.
