Location: N. Richland Hills, TX (On-site) | Type: Full Time As an Inventory Clerk, you're one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Honda. You will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory purchases andsales and all related follow up to deliver an exceptional guest experience. We're looking for an ambitious and organized team player with a guest-service approach to daily responsibilities. Your work is key in ensuring operational effectiveness and ultimately ensuring guests leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves experience. This role is a great entry point into your career with us! What You'll Do:
- Efficiently stock and track new vehicles, ensuring accurate journal entries for vehicle specifications and cost data in the accounting system.
- Oversee the processing of payments for the purchase of used vehicles from auctions, wholesalers, and individual sellers, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Manage the certification process for used vehicles and facilitate dealer transfers, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Perform additional administrative tasks, including preparing checks, organizing and maintaining filing systems, and assisting with general office duties as needed.
- Carry out other assigned duties to support dealership operations and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
What You'll Need:
- Accounting experience and/or education preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Computers- Microsoft Office, databases and spreadsheets
- Full-time availability. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Strong communication skills with both Norm Reeves staff and guests
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills
- Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
