Office Assistant- Temporary Courtyard at St. James
Work Hours Monday- Friday 40 hours per week, 8:00am-4:30 pm

OVERVIEW
Responsible for providing administrative and organizational overflow support for the property management/leasing office with the focus being to purge wait lists and organize them for each property identified.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide customer service to residents and applicants where necessary.
Maintain files in an organized and accessible manner in accordance with Conifer standards of operations, to include updating information for the wait list and creating new filing systems as needed.
General clerical duties including data entry, filing, mail, phones, copying, scanning, and other duties as assigned.
Compose, prepare, and proofread correspondence, office memos, reports, and monthly newsletter, maintaining required confidentiality at all times.
Make recommendations for improvements in correspondence if appropriate.
Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages, and screen and direct telephone calls in a professional manner.
Process incoming and outgoing mail by operating postage meter
Operate standard office equipment efficiently to include multi-line telephone system, computer with printer, photocopy machine, facsimile machine, scanner, and postage meter.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Flexibility to assist at other properties when assigned
Physical attendance at assigned work location (Corporate Office) during scheduled hours is essential.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
AAS in Business a plus.
Compliance knowledge or prior experience with HUD-Sec. 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit or willing to obtain is helpful.
Certifications in housing industry a plus
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1+ years administrative office and customer service experience required.
Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Prior Yardi Voyager preferred or other housing industry software.
Excellent office clerical skills phones, mail, data entry, filing.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range also does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
