Payroll/HR Specialist (Office Location- 78023)

The Payroll/HR Specialist is responsible for payroll processing and human resources administration. This position requires a strong understanding of detailed payroll preparation before processing, entry, set up of employee garnishments, direct direct deposit, etc. Responsibilities include:
  • Processing payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes
  • Ensuring compliance with all payroll laws and regulations
  • Responding to employee inquiries about payroll and benefits
  • Administering employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation time
  • Onboarding new employees and providing them with the necessary information and resources
  • Managing employee records and files
  • Providing HR support to managers and employees
Qualifications:
  • 3 years minimum of experience in payroll processing and HR administration
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with foundation software a plus (not required)
