Earn Up To $28 Per Hour - Full Time Position - Sign on Bonus

Must Have A Valid Class B CDL License

Must Have Or Be Willing To Obtain A DOT Medical Card

2 Years of CDL Driving Experience Preferred + 2 Years of Waste Collection Experience Preferred

Currently we are looking to fill a full-time, local, Class B driver position immediately. Our home terminal is in Utica, NY with regional day-time collection routes throughout Upstate New York.

Agri-Cycle has a newly implemented bonus program to incentivize great performance. We also have an updated pay scale called PAY AS YOU GROW which allows employees to increase their hourly wage by learning new skills. With these programs, employees have the ability to increase their earnings by at least $6000 per year.

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 55 per week

Responsibilities:

The Class B CDL Driver is responsible for the safe operation of our specialized collection vehicles while servicing regional daytime routes. While this position primarily works alone, we promote a team-based atmosphere for drivers and encourage working together to balance daily assignments.

Rolling and emptying totes with hydraulic mechanism at collection locationsEffectively completing pre-trip & post-trip vehicle inspections dailySafely operating a Class B vehicle on roadways and at customer sitesCommunicating load information to dispatchProviding the best-service-possible to customers in a courteous and friendly mannerMaintaining clean vehicle & personal appearance in anoften uncleanenvironmentLifting may be requiredPrior experience in waste industry preferred

Class B licenseMinimum age of 23 yearsAcceptable motor vehicle record and clean background checkAbility to obtain medical cardMust pass regulated DOT drug screenMust pass pre-employment physicalCDL Driving: 2 years (Preferred)Waste Collection: 2 years (Preferred)
