**Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Multi-craft)|2nd shift| $26-$30/hr | Dover, Oh**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our industrial union team. This is a 1st shift position (7am-3pm) located in Dover, OH. The role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance on various machinery and equipment, including extrusion and compounding machines, plumbing, piping, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, including Mitsubishi and Siemens.
+ Work with 480v, single, and three-phase power systems.
+ Handle up to 700hp AC/DC motors.
+ Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, and motors.
+ Replace and repair photo eyes, proxy switches, sensors, and rollers.
+ Conduct plumbing tasks.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
+ Maintain a journal and preventative maintenance list, ensuring all PMs are performed.
+ Assist with special installations and projects.
+ Understand and work from drawings and schematics.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous electrical maintenance experience with 480v and three-phase power.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
+ Proficiency with motors.
+ Self-starter with good attention to detail and motivation.
+ Comfortable working with both modern and older equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ At least 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience.
+ Experience in mechanical maintenance.
+ Experience troubleshooting PLCs, with willingness to attend training if needed.
+ Must have own tools, with the option for the company to provide tools and deduct costs over 12 months.
+ Open to candidates with choppy work history if they have a valid reason.

**Work Environment**
This position is in a manufacturing environment that is family-owned and laid back, with a steel workers union. The second shift from 3:00pm-11:00pm, with 5 hours of overtime throughout the week. Rarely work weekends. The facility can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The dress code includes jeans, shirt, and steel toe boots.
