Hourly Rate This job posting is open from November 4 to November 15, 2024 . The hourly pay rate range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00. This is the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. Some benefits offerings are subject to any legal requirements or limitations, employee eligibility status, and where the employee lives and/or works.Job Summary Under general supervision, maintain the corporate GIS system by processing natural gas facility data submitted by operations.They provide a technical review of the incoming data for accuracy and completeness.Duties and Responsibilities Research and update corporate records in the GIS system. This includes records in the Smallworld GIS system, Documentum system and the various database systems in use at UGI. Responsible for the review and digitizing of natural gas facilities with the corporate GIS system. This includes monitoring the completion documents submitted from operations and working directly with operations personnel to ensure timely and accurate data is getting digitized into the corporate GIS system. Assist in the consolidation of the three gas subsidiaries into the corporate GIS system. Provide operations with custom maps and assist with data requests. Perform other duties as requested. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience working with Geographic Information Systems. General knowledge of piping and natural gas facilities. Strong Math skills including trigonometry and geometry. Drafting experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Education and Experience Associate's Degree in a technical design or engineering field.
