Career Advancement - We promote from within our company!Position Details:Position Type: Full-Time, long-term opportunityJob Location: Washington, WVShift: Days, Monday- FridayBenefits: Paid time off, Paid Holidays and Health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and Life InsuranceCompensation: $25.00 / hourBasic Function:The Training Manager is responsible for ensuring all required training activities and documentation is completed within the On-Board site operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Conduct new hire orientation training.
  • Track all training requirements in the I-learn system to ensure they are completed as required and any past-due trainings are addressed.
  • Coordinate with the Safety Manager to ensure all safety and environmental training is completed per requirements.
  • Ensure that all contract associates perform required regulatory hands-on training (i.e. LTT) & fork truck certifications as needed.
  • Manage Skill Demonstration & Cross Training matrix in coordination with the area supervisors.
  • Perform regular Job Cycle checks / Practice vs Procedure.
  • Manage contractor personnel as related to meeting Quality Control Standards. / Perfect Pallet, etc.
  • Perform regular Quality Control Audits. Recommended one per week during normal operations.
  • Complete any miscellaneous tasks associated with job scope.

  • MS Office Intermediate Excel level applications.
  • Organization Relationships:Works regularly with On-Board PMO Site Administration, Site Leadership (FLS, Specialist, Area Manager, Area EH&S Rep.) and On-Board operators.Qualifications and Physical Requirements:Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, able to work odd hours including weekends and holidays in response to training needs. Candidates may be required to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and distances, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/55 max.On-Board was founded in 1976 by Robert L.
