Private family looking hire a Nanny/Housekeeper in Brooklyn, NY! The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a warm, nurturing, and organized nanny/housekeeper to help care for our two children, Hugo (2) and Audrey (5), while managing light household tasks. Responsibilities include tidying thekitchen and kids' rooms, as well as common areas, prepping snacks, starting laundry, and picking up Hugo from school at 11:30 am. After giving him a snack and some playtime, he will take his nap- usually 90-minute to 2-hour nap. In the afternoon, you'll pick up Audrey, offer healthy snacks, and take the kids to the playground, playdates, or extracurricular activities. You'll assist with dinner and bath, with parents taking over by 6:00 pm, we would ask that you help tidy up a bit then be off at 6:30PM. We're looking for someone who can maintain a tidy and organized household, including putting items away, answering the door for packages, and helping with laundry (excluding parents' clothes). No deep cleaning is required, as we have a cleaning crew. You should be comfortable with public transportation, minimal screen time for the kids, and promoting healthy habits like fresh air, exercise, and nutritious food. Occasionally, we'll ask for your flexibility to travel with us for long weekends, vacations, or to stay with the children when we are out of town. Looking for a warm, loving Nanny/Housekeeper. Someone who truly loves children. A driver's license is preferred but not required.
