Job Position: Registered Behavioral Technician (BRT)Location: Reading,PAPay Rate: $30.00/hrShift: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 3:00pmJob Description:As an RBT, you will work closely with students with behavioral and developmental needs, implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting their educational experience. Your role will involve working directly with students in the classroom, collaborating with teachers, and helping to create a positive and effective learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans within the classroom setting.
  • Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges during academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel to support student needs and modify interventions as required.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff to discuss progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in behavior management and educational support.
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with students with behavioral and developmental needs is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging behaviors in a classroom setting while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying classroom environments and student needs.
