Bright Lake Wealth Management in Redding, CA is seeking a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator to join our marketing team! As the Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events aimed at promoting our firm's services and enhancing client relationships. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can manage events from conception to completion, ensuring they align with our brand and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 2 + years of proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event strategies that align with our firm's goals and branding.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including seminars, webinars, conferences, workshops, client appreciation events, and more.
  • Identify suitable venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships (caterers, A/V technicians, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Create event timelines and coordinate logistics to ensure all aspects run smoothly.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and promotional collateral for events.
  • Oversee event registration and attendee management, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Manage post-event follow-up and feedback collection to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.

Event Promotion and Marketing:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for events.
  • Create and distribute event invitations, emails, and social media campaigns.
  • Monitor event-related web content and social media channels.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and mail houses to create event-specific materials.
  • Track and analyze event metrics and ROI to optimize future event strategies.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Foster positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders through excellent event execution.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers to ensure client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assist in identifying potential partnership and sponsorship opportunities for events.

Administrative and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate event records, including budgets, contracts, and attendee lists.
  • Prepare post-event reports and analysis for senior management.
  • Assist in managing the event calendar and coordinating scheduling with other departments.

  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial services or wealth management industry is a plus.

Salary:

$20-$25/hr. Based on Experience

Hours:

Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

*Seminar Attendance required – Evening Work – 2 times a month

* 25% travel to our office in Medford, Oregon and possible other locations
