Indices Research Analyst

You will manage index data and research analysis for flagship index products within a global team. This role involves significant interaction with internal stakeholders and direct client query handling. With a key focus on US-based contacts, you will be in a visible role offering strong career growth opportunities.
You likely have 2–5 years of experience with index products, especially with large data sets. You possess skills in SQL and/or Python, along with excellent communication abilities, positioning you as a central team member.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a process and systems expert in data management, focusing on Financials/ESG data, supporting team leads, and mentoring junior team members.
- Work collaboratively with global teams to ensure timely, accurate data processes for indices.
- Oversee high-profile index data, managing quality standards and resolving issues to maintain data integrity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams and clients, addressing inquiries and promoting clear communication.
- Lead efficiency initiatives by streamlining processes, enhancing documentation, and collaborating with technology teams on testing and implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a solid understanding of global financial markets, with index data experience.
- Proactive, organized, and able to independently manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
- Advanced degree or relevant financial certification (e.g., CFA) with 2+ years of financial data experience, including SQL, Python, or Power Automate knowledge.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience in high-stakes client-facing roles and familiarity with vendor data and analytical platforms.
