What is the position?
The Management Information System Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting data infrastructure and management systems and contributing to informed decision-making across the organization. This position is ideal for recent graduates and those with 0-2 years of experience with a passion for data management and system optimization.
What are the responsibilities?
As an MIS Analyst, you will:
- Support data management processes, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
- Maintain reports for daily operations and long-term decision-making.
- Reconcile daily activities between depositories and the trust/bond accounting system.
- Promptly and accurately complete security transactions.
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing MIS systems to meet organizational needs.
- Analyze data trends and outputs to drive business insights.
- Assist auditors, account officers, WMS management, investment managers, compliance, and support personnel with resolutions.
- Help maintain data security and integrity per company standards.
- Complete additional responsibilities as required.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytical/data-focused role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of securities & wealth management accounting systems
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of database management
- Some knowledge of accounting practices/principles (reconciliation, trust accounting, bond accounting preferred)
- PC & software application skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
