Job Title: Senior AccountantJob Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for improvement. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to inform strategic decision-making. Audit Preparation: Assist with the preparation and coordination of external audits. Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and readily available for auditors. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax. Stay updated on changes to tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments. Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Regularly review processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to encourage professional growth. Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to management on financial matters. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.
