Pay: $20 - $27.59 per hour

Summary of benefits:

Diagnostic Scheduler Job Duties:
As a Diagnostic Scheduler for OOA, you will help our patient return to a Life in Motion by coordinating all diagnostic orders from physicians. This includes obtaining authorizations, gathering important information, screening, and scheduling patients for a variety of testing such as X-Ray, MRI, EMG and NCS studies. To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience scheduling in a healthcare facility and a strong understanding of insurance and referral processes.
Diagnostic Scheduler Job Requirements:
* High School Diploma (or GED equivalent)
* At least 2 years of work experience in a medical office or healthcare environment where knowledge of scheduling processes, medical terminology, insurance companies and codes were necessary to perform the job.
* Also willing to accept equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
* Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes and modifiers to ensure proper scheduling & billing.
