Job Location : Houston,TX, USA
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure facility compliance with all mandatory Quality Standards.
* Support senior management with implementation of the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and ensure that they are communicated and understood by all employees.
* Work with the supervisors and managers on the development of, and training to, the facility procedures and work instructions.
* Ensure that the training matrix and all employee training records are properly maintained.
* Manage the calibration program for the facility measurement and test equipment.
* Participate in the Internal Audit Process for QA & Safety.
* Assist with the Document Control process.
* Assist with the Corrective and Preventative Action processes.
* Create job data packages and inspection releases as required.
* Prepare the annual Management Review.
* Perform Trend Analysis on NCR'S and CPAR's.
* Oversee monitoring and measuring equipment calibration programs.
* Participate in Material Review Board activities.
* Interface with customers on quality related matters such as product complaints and inspections.
* Work with plant engineering and production departments in support of continuous improvement activities.
* Administer Management of Change and Risk Assessment activities.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
* Three or more years of related QA/QC experience and/or training preferred.
* Strong computer skills required - Microsoft Office experience.
* Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints.
* Non-destructive inspection experience preferred.
* Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments.
* Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
* Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
* Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
