**Company Description**Robert Bosch Fuel Systems, LLC, located in Kentwood, MI, is a precision metal machining manufacturing plant that manufactures and re-manufacturers large engine diesel fuel systems.**Job Description**We are seeking a skilled Screw Machine Job Setter to join our team. As aScrew Machine Job Setter, you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating screw machines to produce components according to specifications.**Responsibilities:**+ Set up screw machines according to job specifications, including adjusting tooling, collets, cams, and other machine components.+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or materials.+ Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.+ Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.+ Load raw materials into machines and perform machine start-up procedures.+ Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.+ Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders and meet production deadlines.+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.+ Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.+ Document machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered during production.**Qualifications****Basic Qualifications**+ High school diploma or equivalent+ Experience as a Screw Machine Operator or similar role, with expertise in setting up and operating screw machines.+ Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.+ Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control techniques.**Preferred Qualifications**+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.+ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.+ Effective communication skills and proficiency to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.+ Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.**Additional Information**_BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives_+ _FIRST Robotics_ _(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)_+ _AWIM_ _(A World In Motion)_By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.**U.S. work authorized individuals only.
