Boyd, Richards, Parker, Colonnelli, a civil litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated attorney for its New York office. Strong interest in attorneys with litigation experience, handling cooperative and condominium law, employment law and commercial litigation. The candidate must be admitted to practice in New York, possess strong writing skills and be comfortable litigating cases from inception through trial, appearing in court, handling depositions and working in a team-oriented environment.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $165,000 and the actual compensation will depend on the candidates qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Managing case load from inception to post-trial
• Attending court conferences, oral arguments, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Preparing pleadings, discovery, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents
• Preparing timely reports regarding case status and ongoing activities
• Ability to prioritize work-load based on deadlines
• Communicating effectively with clients, senior attorneys and paralegals
• Meeting billing requirements
• Completing tasks as assigned in a timely manner

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Ability to interact with attorneys, paralegals, court personnel, opposing counsel, clients, and office staff in a professional manner
• Ability to delegate and prioritize as necessary
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of ProLaw a plus
