Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the Nursery- Assist customers in finding and selecting the appropriate plants, based on their specific requirements.- Provide expert advice and guidance on plant care.- Assist in the development of approaches that ensure every customer is made aware of the full spectrum of material we offered.- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by actively listening to their needs and offering personalized recommendations- Handle customer inquiries and concerns, in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction- Assist in inventory control and safety practices.- Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customersQualifications:- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a garden center, nursery or a similar environment- Passion for horticulture, gardening, and outdoor living- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet- Basic knowledge of plants, their care requirements- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as large plants, as required and up to 50lbs.- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred- Knowledge of exotic material and interior foliage is a plusPay Transparency Mariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
