**Job Title:** Locums Physician**Job Specialty:** Obstetrics and Gynecology**Job Duration:** 13 months (Ongoing need, potentially ending in March)**Shift:** 12-Hour Day Shift (7:30 AM - 7:30 PM)**Guaranteed Hours:** 8 hours**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Board Certification Eligible**Certifications:** BLS required**Must-Have:**- Low risk pregnancy skills- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE- Routine delivery experience- Vaginal delivery experience- Low forceps delivery skills- Decision-making for C-section- Experience with complicated deliveries- C-section capability- Breech birth handling- Experience with multiple births- Ability to manage abruptions- Expertise in VBACs- Skill in repairing 3rd and 4th degree lacerations- Surgical gynecology skills**Job Description:**- Provide obstetric and gynecological care in a busy facility.- Be available for shifts from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.- Expect approximately 20 patient encounters per shift.- Orientation comprises 350 hours.- Participate and manage various deliveries and obstetric procedures.- Perform office and minor gynecological procedures such as IUD placements, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP, if preferred.- Conduct surgical gynecology procedures, including open and laparoscopic surgeries, as required.- Participate in ongoing credentialing for up to 90 days.- Although call is not mandated to be in-house, be prepared to stay due to high activity levels.- Willingness to accommodate any availability, preferably two weeks a month. This position offers an opportunity to work in a trauma level 2 facility, providing a variety of obstetric and gynecological services.
