Responsibilities Recruits, develops, trains, and maintains ongoing communications with the 1199SEIU volunteers that serve as Advisory Committee members from our Child Care Fund (CCF) eligible participating institutions. In addition, the Outreach Coordinator assists with the marketing of benefits and programs to various populations, as needed Develop and implement the annual plan, and schedule of activities for the volunteers serving as institutional representatives to the Child Care Funds (CCF) Gather program information on all CCF/CCC (Child Care Corporation) departments/programs Chair and facilitate volunteer meetings and events and coordinate with other division staff to create a volunteer schedule and sign-up list Conduct new member orientations for Advisory Committee groups Confirm volunteers for CCF/CCC orientations, seminars, workshops and on-site registration events Promote campaign event to increase member use of online information access, benefit awareness, etc. Prepare CCF materials, as needed, for the CCF activities for planning sessions, new orientations, training and special events; includes, agendas for meetings, PowerPoint presentations, flyers for meetings and events, Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum three (3) years experience in community organizing, supervision of a staff and/or volunteers, or in combination of experience, working with volunteers and/or community-based organizations (grass roots organizing/outreach) required Experience in project coordination or project management Demonstrated competence for assessing and managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays
