Reports to: Director of the Sandusky Career Center Job Goals: Responsible for the organization, promotion, security, and administration of all assessment and testing products at the Sandusky Career Center. Performance Responsibilities:
Administers assessments such as WorkKeys®, PearsonVUE®, HiSET® or other testing products to adult learners. Remains current on protocols set forth by testing companies. Coordinates with the Ohio Talent Development Network (OTDN). Guides students through the registration process. Provides reminders and follow up outreach as needed. Ensures student payments are made prior to testing. Follows appropriate check in protocols. Maintains a safe, quiet, and appropriate testing environment. Ensures security measures are in place to protect the validity of the testing process. Communicates with testers and other guests in a positive manner, ensuring the testing experience is enjoyable. Aims to minimize stress for testers. Troubleshoots for technical issues. Participates in accreditation visits and audits as needed. Returns phone calls and inquiry emails in a timely manner providing pleasant and professional customer service. Supports faculty in their efforts to provide high quality instruction and ensure student success. Attends staff meetings as scheduled. Participates in training as needed to maintain current certifications. Represents the Sandusky Career Center at community events. Assists with the planning and execution of on campus events. This may include occasional evening or weekend hours. Completes other duties as assigned. Professional Characteristics:
