About The Role:

A leading and multi award winning national design firm is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join its expanding West Coast team.

Within this role, you'll be instrumental in driving interior design excellence, overseeing FF&E processes, and helping to build a local team. You'll work on exciting projects across sectors such as Higher Education, Public, Multifamily Residential, and Hospitality, while collaborating closely with a national team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these sectors and bring both creativity and leadership to the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process for West Coast projects, ensuring quality and innovation
  • Collaborate with the national team, while building and mentoring a talented local team
  • Oversee all aspects of interior design and FF&E for large-scale projects
  • Play a key role in business development and expanding the firm's West Coast presence
  • Support the growth of the team by fostering a positive, inclusive work environment

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Interior Design with a focus on FF&E
  • NCIDQ certification is required
  • Broad experience in sectors such as higher education, public, multifamily residential, or hospitality
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to grow and manage a studio
  • A passion for mentoring junior designers and fostering creative growth
