  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or Information Systems or equivalent working experience in the field
Experience / Qualifications
  • Minimum three years demonstrated experience working in a security-oriented role
  • Critical thinking in cyber security risk analysis or similar relevant area of focus
  • Cyber security incident response, threat hunting, security practices, threat modeling, and developing security requirements and strategy.
  • CISSP, CEH, CHFI, SANS GIAC certifications or Security+ is a plus
Position Summary Under the supervision of the Director Cyber Security, the Cyber Security Lead will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our cybersecurity defenses, ensuring protection of our digitial assets, patient information, and infromation systems. This individual will lead a team of technical staff, managed service providers, and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop, implement, and oversee the cybersecurity strategy. Key Responibilties:
  • Oversee a team of cybersecurity professionsals, leading daily operations. Assiting with staffing decisions and professional development. Foster a culture of continous improvement and collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational and department objectives.
  • Assist with the develop and maintance of the cybersecurity program, ensuring adherance to information seucirty standards and procedures. Lead the implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to maintain the confidentiality, integirty, and avaliablity of information systems.
  • Oversee incident response planning and manage the investigation of security breaches. Assist with legal matters assoicated with incidents, requests, and breaches as nessacry.
  • Contribute to the creation of stratigic cybersecurity roadmaps, including multi-year plans that align with organizational goals and risk assessment methodologies. Stay current with industry developments and apply knowledge to enhance our security posture.
  • Maintain relationshops with regulatory bodies, and other relevant agencies. Manage partnerships with vendors to ensure quality and consistency of security services
Preferred Key Competencies:
  • In-depth technical knowledge of operating systems and security technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking, data structures, directory systems, the internet, and regulatory frameworks (NIST CSF, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to assist with the management and develop high-performing teams
