Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly
Description
To design, implement and sell effective personal training programs that meet the unique goals and needs of each individual member or guest. The personal training position is accompanied by a fitness floor shift that allows the trainer to promote themselves, as well as to provide expert information about the equipment in the facility. Ability to design premium programming in the form of challenges, boot camps and or fitness related events.
Qualifications
* Possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, initiative, flexibility, dependability, creativity, and ability to work and problem-solve as a team player.
* Personal Fitness experience from personal workout and spending time at the gym or fitness center.
* Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification is a must.
* Certifications required within 90 days of hire: CPR/AED, First Aid, and Safe Schools Trainings.
* Understand and be committed to the YMCA mission and character development.
