AccuCare Home Health Care of St. Louis has been serving the St. Louis area for 30 years. The ideal candidate is dependable, people-oriented, adaptable and detail-oriented.Must be willing and able to travel to locations in West County, St. Charles County, South County areas. CAREGIVER PAY: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour- Depending On Experience (Weekly Pay, Flexible Schedule, Paid-time-off (PTO) program, Paid Training) CAREGIVER PERSONAL CARE SERVICES
- Grooming, including oral care
- Assist with shower
- Assist the resident with dressing and undressing
- Apply and remove Ted hose
- Assist with active and passive range of motion
- Assist the resident with toileting activities
- Assist in feeding the resident, if necessary
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure)
- Other duties as assigned and approved by AccuCare
CAREGIVER HOSPITALITY APPROACH
- Greet residents, facility staff, and co-workers with a SMILE, always.
- Find ways to exceed resident expectations every time (be friendly, kind, gracious, patient.)
- Anticipate the resident needs, don't wait, do.
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure timeliness and graceful exit from resident services.
- Ability to memorize resident's names and recognize throughout the day.
Caregiver Education/Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of five (5) years of documented experience required in health care industry
- Certified in CPR
Caregiver Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
- MUST HAVE Reliable Transportation
- MUST HAVE Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to pass the background check
- Ability to be calm in stressful situations
- Self-directed; able to work successfully with little direct supervision; equally able to work successfully as a team member
- Ability to interact with adverse, and sometimes difficult residents and/or family
- Pet friendly
- Must have a can-do attitude!
- Valid CNA License a huge plus!!
- Must be willing and able to travel to locations in West County, St. Charles County, South County areas.
