Role Purpose Statement
This role is responsible for delivering high-impact training programs across our facilities/kitchens in the West region of the US, empowering employees with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their positions. The position works closely with leadership to assess development needs, facilitate engaging learning sessions, and foster continuous talent growth, ultimately driving business success and enhancing employee performance.
• Facilitation of Training Programs: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions on a variety of topics, including leadership, technical skills, compliance, and soft skills. • Training Needs Assessment: Collaborate with department heads, HR, and other stakeholders to assess training needs and develop customized learning solutions that address organizational objectives. • Content Development: Assist in the creation and modification of training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and other instructional content. • Evaluation and Feedback: Use evaluation tools (e.g., surveys, assessments) to gather participant feedback and measure the effectiveness of training programs. Implement continuous improvements based on feedback and learning outcomes. • Coaching and Support: Provide one-on-one coaching to employees as needed to help reinforce learning and foster skill development. • Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager of Training and Instructional Design to ensure training initiatives align with overall organizational goals and strategies. • Stay Current with Trends: Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and talent development to continuously improve training offerings. • Reporting: Track and report training attendance, participation rates, and results to measure success and identify areas for improvement. • Working Conditions: The role requires frequent travel to other company locations for training delivery, as well as flexibility to deliver training sessions during varying hours to accommodate different shifts or time zones.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. A relevant certification in training (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP) is a plus. • 3-5 years of experience in training, facilitating workshops, or employee development roles, preferably within the Hospitality, Food Service, or Manufacturing industries. • Proven ability to deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions. • Experience in creating and developing instructional materials and e-learning courses. • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as communicating with employees at different levels with diverse backgrounds and language skills. • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital training tools. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously. • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
