Direct Report Hospitality Supervisor Employee Profile and Desired Traits • High level emotional intelligence • Active in team dynamics, conflict prevention/resolution, and identifying customer needs • Cheerful attitude and servant leadership disposition • Dedicated customer service and people oriented • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and develop hard and soft skills • Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customers Duties Responsibilities • Assist in planning and setting up events like conferences, weddings, and meetings • Prepare event spaces by arranging furniture, equipment, and decorations as needed • Work with clients to understand their needs and make sure their event runs smoothly • Provide excellent service to guests by answering questions and addressing concerns • Help guests with check-in and check-out to ensure a great experience • Monitor events to ensure everything runs on time and according to plan • Coordinate with other hotel teams (catering, housekeeping, maintenance) to support events • Find solutions to problems quickly and guest advocate • Maintain records of event bookings, client feedback, and supplies inventory • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area • Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership • Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications & Training • 18 years of age or older • Required: high school diploma/equivalent • Preferred: Experience in hospitality and recreational field • General computer knowledge and proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Strong organization and prioritization skills • Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination • Be or become a registered member of Scouting America Performance Results • Achieves high guest satisfaction through positive feedback and surveys • Events run smoothly and issues are resolved within an hour • Communicates positively with guests and staff to support successful event operations Physical Requirements • Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. • Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements Uniform Summit staff uniform Housing 10x12' Platform Tent; Staff Camp Expected Weekly Hours 45 - 55
