The Dispatcher Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing the dispatch department of LPS transportation. The Dispatch Center is the hub of activity for the department. The Dispatcher Supervisor is the main person to see that all individual runs of each route package are assigned to a driver and a bus each day. Daily tasks include the dispatching of vehicles, calling substitute drivers, assisting with Transportation Department typing and data inputting on a computer terminal.
