POSITION SUMMARYNichols School seeks qualified 5-12 substitute teachers for the 2024-2025 academic year. Substitute teachers play an essential role when a regular teacher is unavailable. In this role, you'll guide and support students, ensuring continuity in their learning. Substitutes should be prepared to accept assignments in advance or occasionally on short notice. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong responsibility, classroom management skills, emotional intelligence, and a positive, flexible attitude. Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Implementing lesson plans from the regular teacher to ensure a smooth and consistent learning experience for students
- Managing the classroom effectively to foster participation, minimize disruptions, and maintain a positive learning environment
- Supervising students in various settings, including the classroom, hallways, recess/lunch, and dismissal
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and prior teaching experience.
Daily Rate:$130.00
