The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management of NetSuite and supporting users and integrations within the system. You will manage and maintain various configurations, integrations, and custom elements of a key business system. You'll collaborate with teams across different functions, offering technical guidance to ensure smooth system operations. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation that this individual will work in the office 4 days per week. Alumni Ventures is a fast-paced, professional, entrepreneurial environment. What You Will Do:
- Create configurations and customizations of NetSuite to meet business needs
- Provide on-going systems and technical support for the NetSuite system
- Generate reports and analytics to support management in decision-making and financial close processes
- Assist with importing and exporting data, ensuring data quality
- Maintain NetSuite updates
- Ensure the system is configured to support accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
- Work with various teams to optimize system configurations for business processes
- Participate in testing and ensure successful project implementations
- Serve as a role model and leader for AV, contributing positively to office environment and company culture
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a system administration role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- NetSuite Administrator or Financial User certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, configuration, and customization
- Skilled in creating custom reports/records, workflows, fields and search features
- Understanding of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report processes
- Expertise in data migration, system integration, and third-party applications
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and K-1 tax form preparation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
