Our Corporate Services Department, which consists of our Finance, IT, Legal and HR Teams, brings order and energy to the network of systems and people that make our mission possible. What you'll do The Global Lean Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives within an organization using Lean and Kaizen methodologies. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.As a Global Lean Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Project Management
    • Plan, budget, and execute the Pittsburgh Office Relocation project
    • Lead Lean and Kaizen projects from initiation to completion
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Ensure projects meet objectives and deliverables
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify areas for process improvement
    • Implement Lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events
    • Develop strategies to eliminate waste and enhance productivity
  • Collaboration
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand current processes
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to drive improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Lean principles
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Track and analyze project performance metrics
    • Ensure continuous feedback loops to refine processes
    • Report on project progress and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Training and Mentoring
    • Train team members on Lean principles and methodologies
    • Mentor staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement
    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Lean principles
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing Lean and Kaizen projects
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles and tools
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Interpersonal and teaming skills
  • Familiarity and experience in utilizing databases
  • Previous technical or computer experience
  • MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to drive efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Light manufacturing environment
  • Moderate noise level
