Success awaits motivated individuals who join our team to help us redefine Brooklyn hospitality.OverviewThe Marketing team works to consistently communicate and share all messaging for The William Vale while celebrating the brand. Help us blend creativity and experience while simultaneously focusing on improving our financial goals. Our ideal candidate is a high-energy and empowered individual who will proactively provide support to the Director of Marketing as well as other necessary areas of operations. The role will require a balance of analytical thinking, communication skills and data management skills.Responsibilities
  • Execute social media strategy, content, and community management.
  • Assists with digital strategy and implementation with our digital partner
  • Designs, writes copy, and deploys all email marketing (e-blast messaging) for the property.
  • Manage content in CMS and liaise with website provider when necessary to ensure priority projects are completed in a timely manner and website messaging is up to date.
  • Captures high quality photo and video content for social purposes. Supports photo and video shoots for website and collateral needs.
  • Executes in-house graphic design requests and liaises with freelance graphic designer when necessary.
  • Assist with vetting influencer, media, and brand requests. Provides property tours and event assistance as needed.
  • Complete influencer/photographer agreement and ensure deliverables are met with PR team.
  • Prepares marketing activity reports.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media scheduling software (Sprout), graphic design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva)
  • Experience with email marketing tools and/or familiarity with best practices
  • Strong copy writing skills
  • Has an eye for design, strong photography and graphic design skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years' Marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in Marketing
  • Knowledge of all media channels and a keen eye toward market trends and marketplace conditions
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationships management (CRM) tools
  • Experience with research using data analytics software is a plus
  • Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of programming and events
  • Prior experience in hospitality a plus
  • Must always maintain a professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to sit, stand and perform continuous desk work throughout the day
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 15 pounds
