Must have at least 10yrs of Construction Management experience #2. Must have a strong understanding of scoping, buyout, cost control and communication skills. #3. Must have knowledge of concrete-construction, documents, concrete materials, and characteristics, concrete formwork systems, equipment utilization, scheduling and managing subcontractors. #3. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years Responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager:
- Develop comprehensive and complete scopes of work
- Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope
- Responsible for financial success of projects. This includes very detailed weekly self-performed labor costing and budget control
- Develop and maintain a project schedule
- Coordinate all aspects of concrete construction with the owner and general contractor including submitting and coordinating all project schedules, pay applications, change orders, submittals, approvals, and RFIs
- Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance companys ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operation efficiency.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to field and site superintendents
- Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc., as required
- Performs other tasks as provided by Supervisor
Requirements of the Construction Project Manager:
- Four years Management or Engineering Degree or, equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
- Thorough and wide-ranging knowledge of concrete-construction, documents, concrete materials, and characteristics, concrete formwork systems, equipment utilization, scheduling and managing sub[1]contractors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Prolog Manager
- Get the job done through self-motivation, effective prioritization skills and integrity
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work as a team
