About Healthier Mississippi People Healthier Mississippi People (HMP) is a rapidly growing company formed in 2021. Currently HMP employs over 1,300 people, with 12 corporate employees, and the remainder being allied health professionals. HMP provides staffing for critical positions within our client hospitals and ambulatory clinics. Job Summary: The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will plan, coordinate, and conduct business system analysis, Microsoft Azure and Office 365 administration, IT security monitoring and administration, recommend and implement improvement activities. The BSA will work with vendors such as Microsoft and line of business vendors for HR and Payroll functions to customize and operate those products securely and efficiently. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with vendors and HMP staff to manage implementation of new systems
- Assess and audit systems and processes for potential weak points and implement solutions.
- Establish and maintain security measures to detect, prevent and mitigate cyber attacks.
- Develop response protocol for successful cyber attacks.
- Create disaster recovery plans.
- Provide training and education on security and IT topics to the corporate staff.
- Understands the business systems used by HMP and recommends the most effective use of those systems. Works with vendors to create custom reporting as needed. Establishes and monitors proper security roles within the business systems.
- Monitors and manages security tools and processes for IT infrastructure and business systems.
- Collaborates with users, vendors, technicians, and managers to understand and assess computing and system needs and requirements.
- Evaluates current technology use and needs of the company and recommends software and hardware improvements.
- Remains current on advances in technology.
- Provides technical support to users.
- Prepares and delivers operational or project progress reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough understanding of CIS principles, programs, policies, activities, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to explain technical problems and offer solutions to those without technological training.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Programming, or related field required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
