What We Are Looking ForThe Master Plumber specializing in residential projects plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential properties. In addition to the core plumbing responsibilities, this position will collaborate closely with our HVAC and Energy Assessment teams to provide comprehensive home comfort solutions for our customers. This position's expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality services and exceptional customer satisfaction.What You Will Do Install and configure plumbing systems in residential buildings, including piping, fixtures, and appliances such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning fixtures. Conduct routine maintenance to prevent future problems and ensure optimal performance of plumbing systems. Inspect plumbing systems to identify problems and assess their condition. Conduct pressure tests, leak checks, and other diagnostic procedures to ensure the integrity and functionality of plumbing installations. Ensure that all plumbing work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for plumbing projects as required by local authorities. Troubleshoot plumbing problems reported by homeowners or property managers. Provide expert advice and recommendations for resolving issues efficiently and cost-effectively. Interact with homeowners, tenants, and property managers in a professional and courteous manner. Address their concerns promptly and effectively, and strive to exceed their expectations for quality and service. Supervise and mentor apprentice plumbers or other plumbing staff as needed. Provide guidance, instruction, and hands-on training to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of residential plumbing. Maintain accurate records of plumbing work performed, including installation details, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Prepare reports and documentation for clients, regulatory agencies, and internal records. Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, such as burst pipes or sewage backups, to minimize property damage and inconvenience to residents.
