DescriptionJOB TITLE: Timekeeper REPORTS TO: Business Unit Leader, Lead Administrator, Payroll Supervisor PAY RANGE: $23.00 - $26.00/Hourly DOE Summary of position: Assemble, record, and submit all necessary information concerning employees, such as personal information, time, pay, etc. Handle communication of changes in personnel status to the corporate office. May be required to perform other duties as deemed necessary by the superintendent for safe and timely completion of the job. Essential Job Requirements: Collect and record time and attendance for each employee on the job for each pay period accurately and legibly; daily request signatures from employees for attendance confirmation; submit timesheets to corporate office in a concise and timely manner; assign time to correct job; operate in a supporting/operational role in any electronic time keeping systems in place. May be required to perform other duties as deemed necessary by the superintendent for safe and timely completion of the job. Required Education: High School or equivalent Required Experience: Clerical experience required. Working knowledge of Excel required. Experience in fast-paced work environment. Required Skills: Math skills, computer skills, organizational skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills. Physical Requirements: Requires physical stamina. Mental Requirements: Must be able to work under stressful conditions. Must be able to organize and prioritize work. Equipment Used: Computer, fax machine, telephone, copy machine Supervisory Responsibilities: None at this time Working Conditions: Most work performed in an office environment under pressured, fast-paced conditions; frequently requires overtime. May require some travel. Minimal exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, dusty conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, hazardous machinery.
