Duties and responsibilities
- Duties include utilizing pick tickets for products to be selected for a customer order
- Counting product accurately and picking cases for a customer order, bending and lifting to retrieve cases from pick slots, and lifting cases onto pallets.
- Order Selector must document case quantity or quantities picked, and use by dates accurately onto pick tickets. Once pallets are completed the pallet must be wrapped and labeled with contents of pallet on the pallet sheet.
- Pick Slot, Product Item Number, and Case Quantity on Product Tracking Sheet.
- He/she must also inform Management about all Quality, Safety, and Other problems found during the shift.
- Employee must maintain a clean work area at all times, requiring extensive janitorial tasks.
- Must be certified and qualified in the operation of powered jacks or lift trucks
- Complete daily Inspection for operating conditions and safety for assigned powered jacks/trucks
- Check with all production Supervisors and / or Leads for list of products to be produced
- Put-away all finished products into pick slots for accurate picking process
- Maintain accurate, timely, and efficient workflow for all assignments
- Maintain accurate documentation necessary to assigned function
- Communicate with supervisor(s) and lead(s) as necessary
- Maintain clean and orderly work area, including pick slots, pallet racks, dock, and cooler areas
- Maintain productivity at a consistently high level
- Maintain a professional attitude
- Adherence to all Company Policies
- Follow and comply with company's safety program at all times

Qualifications Qualifications include:
- Bilingual English/Spanish - preferred but not mandatory
- At least three years of recent stand up forklift operating experience
- At least three years of recent electric pallet jack experience
Working conditions
- Must be able to work outside when needed in any weather conditions
- Capable of working in a cold (34-38 degrees F) and wet environment
- Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift 75 pounds consistently
- Walking, standing and bending throughout the entire shift.
