Wieland is hiring Forklift Operators. The ForkliftOperator will be responsible for using light mobile equipment/forklift to direct the flow of materials through the production process as it travels from raw material to finished product. This role is fully on-site in East Alton, IL.

Starting Pay: $25.41

Schedule: Swing Shift - Monday through Friday and weekends, working 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift

Responsibilities:

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment
• Responsible for producing a quality product in an efficient manner including set up, calibration, and production changeovers
• Use light mobile equipment/forklift to direct the flow of materials through the process as it travels from raw materials to finished products
• Performs inspection of the product and processes as needed
• Support and assist in maintenance work to minimize down time.

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Metals experience preferred not required
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Three years of manufacturing experience or heavy labor experience

*Must be able to commit to a swing shift schedule and overtime as needed*
