You are a strategic, innovative facilities leader ready to help clients optimize their business!Sodexo is seeking a Director 3, Facilities Operations - Plant Operations and Maintenance Director providing operations, maintenance, repairs, and minor construction for an acute care community hospital in the San Diego, CA area.This Director of Facilities Operations will oversee Life Safety Compliance for the health system, participate in permitting, ILSM, vendor management, and training. This highly customer-interactive position will maintain continuous survey readiness through compliance with regulations from several regulatory agencies, including The Joint Commission (TJC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), California Dept. of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The role involves maintaining regulatory readiness documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and training the team for regulatory inspections.CHFM RequiredBachelor's degree requiredPlant Operations Leadership and Maintenance RequiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and medical regulations at the location. Manage activities concerning technical development and scheduling. Establish and manage budgets and productivity targets while controlling expenditures within project and department budgets. Ensure maintenance of physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utility systems, and grounds are in safe working condition at all times. Maintain a constant state of readiness to comply with TJC, EOC, Life Safety, and Emergency Preparedness survey inspections, preparation, and documentation requirements. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations. Assist in gathering information and assembling files for State Health Inspections.
