MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Must be at least 25 years of age per vehicle use policy.
* High School diploma (or GED equivalent).
* Valid driver's license and adequate transportation required.
* Two or more years of professional events planning and coordination experience or certification of professional training centered on hospitality, meeting and event planning. Work portfolio showing project history or copy of certification curriculum outline will be required.
* Familiar with industry terminology.
* Two or more years of customer service experience.
* Event budget management experience; including prompt processing of invoices.
* Experience working with external vendors.
* Excellent computer skills required in Microsoft Windows environment: Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Publisher. May be subject to skills testing.
* Possess good written and communication skills.
* Have a working knowledge of scanners, photocopiers, Outlook email and Outlook calendar scheduling.
* Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
* Ability to multitask and problem solve.
* Reasonable ability to communicate in English.
* This is a covered position and will be subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check.
* Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
* Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with digital forms
* Experience with government RFPs and RFQs.
* Grant guideline knowledge experience.
* Food Handlers permit
SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Support Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of special events and camps for Tribal Government administration and programs. This position also provides support for special projects and activities for Tribal Government. Regular full-time, office location: CTCLUSI Administration Building, Coos Bay, ORE.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Works closely with the Administrative Support Manager and department directors to coordinate special events and camps.
* Assists with selection and booking of venues.
* Manage RSVP list for Tribal Government events.
* Manages the master calendar for all events.
* Assist with administration, events, activities, mailings and special projects.
* Coordinates event planning meetings, effectively relay flow of information and communication to staff and departments.
* Coordinates logistics to ensure the event runs smoothly.
* Create and use spreadsheets for administration as assigned.
* Regular ordering of supplies such as promotional items or items needed to conduct the events.
* Maintain a stock list. Complete annual supply inventory.
* Assists with Admin administrative duties as needed.
* Operate fax machine, copiers, and scanners.
* Ability to work independently as a team player.
* Maintain a good attendance record as outlined in CTCLUSI Handbook.
* Other duties as assigned.

* This position is not a supervisory position.

* Must be able to walk, talk, hear, use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

* Must be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 40 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT
* This is a full time position working in Tribal Government.
* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
