Job Title: Sales Representative - Heavy Haul DivisionLocation: Western Pennsylvania RegionDepartment: SalesReports To: Sales ManagerJob Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Heavy Haul Division, focusing on business development in the Western Pennsylvania region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry, specifically in heavy haul trucking, rig moving, and oversized load transportation. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring the division's growth in a competitive market.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand the heavy haul customer base in the Western Pennsylvania region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industries that require heavy haul and oversized load transportation, such as oil and gas, construction, energy, and manufacturing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
  • Conduct cold calls, client visits, and presentations to generate new leads and close sales.
  • Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate service offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while meeting their needs.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape in the Western Pennsylvania region.
  • Represent the Heavy Haul Division at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build brand awareness and foster new business relationships.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions through CRM software.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials that support business development efforts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the Heavy Haul Division.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or heavy haul industry.
  • Knowledge of heavy haul trucking, rig moving, and oversized load transportation (required).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities, and close deals.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Pennsylvania region for client visits and meetings.
  • Strong understanding of the Western Pennsylvania market and key industries such as oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing (preferred).
Working Conditions:
  • This position is based in the Western Pennsylvania region, with frequent travel to client sites and occasional travel to company headquarters and other locations.
  • Work is typically performed in both office and field environments, including on-site visits to customer locations.
  • The role may require occasional attendance at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events outside of normal business hours.
